Learn practical steps for using the Daisy Cocktail Set at your next party, from prepping daisy ice molds to serving cocktails with a floral flair.
Quick answer
Use the Daisy Cocktail Set to make daisy-shaped ice cubes ahead of time, then serve cocktails in the included 12 oz glasses for an instant floral upgrade at your party.
Why prep ice molds ahead of time
The silicone ice molds create 2-inch daisy-shaped cubes that take several hours to freeze fully. Starting the night before or at least 6 hours before your party ensures the cubes are solid and ready to drop into drinks without melting too fast.
Choosing the right cocktails
The 12 oz glasses work well for whiskey, bourbon, scotch, or any cocktail served over ice. Because the daisy cubes are larger than standard ice, they dilute more slowly, making them ideal for spirit-forward drinks where you want to avoid a watery taste.
Step-by-step party setup
- Fill and freeze the molds: Fill each silicone mold with filtered water, taking care not to overfill. Place the molds on a flat tray in the freezer for at least 6 hours or overnight. Check that the molds are level in the freezer so the daisy shape forms evenly.
- Unmold the ice cubes: Gently twist or flex the silicone mold to release the daisy cubes. Run the bottom of the mold under cool tap water for a few seconds if they stick. Avoid hot water, which can crack or cloud the ice.
- Pour and serve: Drop one daisy ice cube into each 12 oz glass, then pour your chosen cocktail over it. Serve immediately to showcase the floral shape before it melts. For a clearer cube, use distilled water or boil and cool tap water before freezing.
