The first ice ball I made came out perfectly round and crystal clear, with no weird freezer taste. My bourbon on the rocks looks downright classy now, and the red silicone makes it easy to spot in my crowded freezer drawer.

Finally, a mold that makes perfectly round ice spheres without any seams or cracks. The silicone is flexible enough to pop the ball out cleanly, and it really does keep my whiskey cold without watering it down too fast.

The round ice balls actually last through my whole drink instead of melting in ten minutes, which is exactly why I wanted them. Filling the mold is a little fiddly the first time, but once you get the water level right they pop out clean and clear.
